A common guideline for when to head to the hospital: contractions about every 5 minutes, lasting about 1 minute, sustained for about 1 hour. The app watches your pattern and lets you know when it matches — including with a notification if your phone is locked. You can switch to the stricter 4-1-1 rule in Settings. Always follow your own care team's advice first.
Yes. A Live Activity on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island shows the running contraction, and you can end it from there without unlocking.
When a session ends you can share a plain-text summary right away. A printable PDF report and the full history are part of the Pro upgrade; a CSV export is available to everyone in Settings.
